Watch our latest video featuring Alex Gingell, Deputy Head Teacher, and pupils from Marlborough Primary School.
At the Institute of Imagination, we work with schools across London and beyond, through workshops for pupils at the Imagination Lab, pop-up schools sessions in the classroom, CPD for teachers and advice and guidance.
We’ve been working with Marlborough Primary School for a number of years and in this video, we visited the school to talk to Alex Gingell, Deputy Head Teacher, and pupils, in their MakerSpace – a multi-use space for tinkering and experimenting which we helped the school to develop.
The pupils who participated in the sessions were from across year groups and they were working on a chain reaction exercise, aimed to get them thinking about collaboration and design through making skills. We spoke to Alex about how the iOi has helped pupils and teachers in the school and the children shared with us what they were working on and why imagination was the key to success!
‘If you let your imagination run wild, anything’s possible!’
